Silver Oaks Chateau Enchantment

I am beyond excited to share this with you! I can’t even contain my excitement! It truly was a dream come true! Last month I had the incredible opportunity to photograph a gorgeous venue which happens to be super close to home. The owners are some of the most gracious people you will ever meet and I can’t even deal with this session right now! Seriously you guys, I had the most talented vendor friends to help me put this together and I couldn’t be more pleased to have them as friends and work with them in this amazing Wedding Industry here in St. Louis. I feel so fortunate that I get to creatively tell love stories in a romantic and candid, but timeless way to preserve your most important memories. This gorgeous venue is like that of a French Chateau among the countryside. It is beyond scenic and we wanted to style something that was comfortable, warm and inviting. All of us love the outdoors and adventures so we wanted to use simple elegant details and pull nature into our tablescape and the phenomenal bouquet so we used a lot of greenery. With the venue being so stunning we opted to use heirloom silver and gold candlestick holders and and heirloom china that has a provincial feel. Our DIY for the table was using ribbons and making a pattern of french basket weave something luxe but unique and simple. In the Parisian spirit we had a cheeseboard for our couple to enjoy along with signature cocktails that made them feel special and invited. The couple we chose were Newlyweds and it was important to us to use a married couple who felt comfortable cuddling up together. One day they can look back on the fun they had modeling for us. The bride wore a delicate blush dress that made her look and feel beautiful! The shoes and the bouquet and that rose gold diamond wedding ring definitely added to our touches of luxe. The artist details were amazing from the the marbled cake, to the intricately designed cookies and signs and of course that rose colored diamond wedding ring. My style of photography and who I am is Romantic so I really wanted to incorporate that into the session by using lots of flickering candlelight. The venue had a gorgeous ornamental mirror that I thought would be the perfect centerpiece for our ceremony along with lots of greenery and hand written vows beforehand. It is always fun to renew your vows even at a styled session!
