A Fun Engagement Session in Forest Park

Engagement sessions are so fun for me. It gives me the opportunity to get to know you better before I photograph your wedding day. I like to learn about your favorite places in St. Louis and what you like to do for fun and date nights. Andrew & Jenna were headed to the Hi Pointe Drive In after the engagement session for dinner. As a foodie I love to hear about the restaurants

 in the area. My husband and I enjoy trying all kinds of food and a good date night out. I love to photograph areas that are special to you as a couple. Photographing this sweet couple’s session in St. Louis at The Grand Basin in front of the beautiful St. Louis Art museum and the World’s Fair Pavilion was so much fun. Andrew, a classic gentleman, used the the Grand basin to propose to the beautiful Jenna, a fun-loving tomboy who shares my love of sequins, so it was ideal that we photograph their engagement session there as well. I got to meet their fur baby the adorable Caroline who came with us to the engagement session. Thankfully, Andrew’s sister was there to care for her and take care of bags for a change of clothing. We started out with a champagne toast at the Basin and then moved over to the Spanish inspired World’s Fair Pavillion. We had a wonderful night together and it was truly a joy to capture Jenna & Andrew’s personality at the session. I am so looking forward to photographing their early November wedding at The Soulard Preservation Hall.
