Glamorous, urban details were part of Bo & Stephanie’s wedding day. Stephanie wanted to use beautiful jewel tone colors against the cold winter background of St. Louis. She used Navy, purple, pink, & the color of 2015 Marsala. She had an array of jewel toned flowers in her bouquet. She found beautiful dresses for the bridesmaids at Nordstrom, and I loved her beautiful vintage find, the chic fur to keep her warm on her special day. Her sister in law (to be) let use her veil as something “borrowed” and her blue was those stunning Navy heels, that really popped against her beautiful white dress. I loved the stylish silk robes from Etsy that the bridesmaids wore while they were getting ready with Stephanie. They had a wonderful service at Graham Chapel at Washington University, with music by a long time friend. I loved taking photos on the campus. We then headed off to Forest Park for wedding images we had so much fun all over Forest Park. The reception was at NEO. I loved the D.I.Y. hand painted wine bottles of every type, with melted candles as the guests came into the space to find their seat. NEO is such a gorgeous urban space with exposed duct work, and a 360* view of St. Louis. Bo & Stephanie have a huge heart and donated to the Wounded Warrior Project & the ASPCA in luau of flowers on the tables. They did have beautiful gold chargers for each guest. The food was delicious, and everyone had a wonderful time. It was such a treat to photograph Bo & Stephanie, and give Stephanie that editorial style of photography that I love and prefer to photograph. I love the details, the style, the moments.
Thank you Bo & Stephanie for letting me photograph your love story!
