As a creative person, I love to continually stretch myself in terms of art. I love to learn new skills and gain a new understanding, enriching my client experience for my couples. It is important to me to give the best experience and service to my bride and grooms. I ultimately want them to treasure their images forever. As a fine art wedding photographer it is my goal to capture your wedding day in the most gorgeous way I can. I want to photograph everything beautifully, and capture tender moments. As a wedding photographer I have many other photographer friends, whom I love, and many photographer’s that I just ultimately love to follow for inspiration, and encouragement. Julie Pasiley of Julie Paisley photography is one of my favorite people in the industry.
Aside from being extremely talented Julie is an incredibly positive. I love her passion for photography, and her kind heart. She is definitely a kindred spirit of mine. Julie was of course so warm and welcoming at her cottage, opening up her home and space for me and few other photographer’s. With so much grace and a-lot of knowledge she shared her thoughts on business, her ways of photographing and mentored us in our style, and how we approach our business, and family.
I went to photograph with Film, I have two film cameras and four DSLR bodies but I decided to rent a Contax camera, and learned to shoot with both my DSLR, and with the Contax, loading film all the while…shooting through this incredible Workshop. It was so much fun to come together with other photographer’s who are also wanting to grow in their knowledge of film shooting on the wedding day. I really enjoyed the whole process. We had a very small group, and met some amazing girls. I am so thankful to have them in my life now, and to have gotten to know Julie. I am so fortunate that I get to do what I love and share love stories. I in awe of the styling of this shoot, and loved the loose bouquet, and with raw silk ribbons, and the florals. I loved the BHLDN gown from Anthropologie. My style is romantic and I feel this definitely reflects that. I love all things pretty, and love capturing all the pretty details, and the connections. Throughout the session as I photographed I kept singing Chris Stapleton’s song…”Tennessee Whiskey” to myself as I shot, I think you will make the connection below. I feel truly inspired for having gone to her workshop, and I can’t wait until I get to visit with her again.
