Silver Oaks Chateau Wedding

I am so beyond excited to share this super special wedding with you! Silver Oaks Chateau is a beautiful venue for a Wedding and it was truly a lovely experience to capture this gorgeous event and ceremony between the lovely Taylor and equally amazing Jeff. We share an Anniversary week-end with this sweet couple and it was a wonderful way to hear our vows again! My husband Patrick and I photographed their wedding together after celebrating our 17th Anniversary.

I love their commitment to one another and that they are really truly celebrating their marriage. The wedding was held inside because it was a bit overcast and it was truly an intimate ceremony with such loving words and was such a picture of grace. I wish them a lifetime of love and happiness!

The Super hero cake was also a surprise! Taylor had the back of it designed special just for Jeff! So we had to make it a super fun and light it up to show off the special surprise!

Jeff and Taylor first met through mutual friends in their high school youth group. On a Thursday night in June of 2012, a group of friends decided to go swing dancing and as one thing led to another, Jeff and Taylor hit it off! From that night they spent two months getting to know one another and discussing their potential future as a couple. In August they started dating and by early September, they knew they were committed to each other for the long haul. The following year began their journey of long distance in which Taylor went to school in Texas while Jeff attended school in Missouri. Those four years were filled with FaceTime dates, sweet reunions, and many hellos and goodbyes. As they had dreamed about for years by then, Jeff flew to Texas in April of 2016 to surprise Taylor while she was out taking pictures with her friends. He called her name from behind her, and she turned just in time to see him get down on one knee. On June 4th 2017, they celebrated the day they had been longing for many years of dating and distance. They are starting their new life together in Missouri as they continue to celebrate their love for each other on a daily basis through this gift of marriage.
